I grew up in a small country in the heart of Europe the Czech Republic. I immigrated into the United States at the age of ten with my parents. Later on in my journey of getting an education I discovered I had a passion for computers. That lead from one thing to another I left a normal high school to attend a technical school. At the technical school I excelled quit rapidly when my teacher noticed that she told me about a program called the Career Academy. The Career Academy allowed high school students to attend college and got to high school at the same time. I was very exited but soon learned that it was a lot of work, but one of my professor gotten me interested into multimedia and I started loving it. Now I don't leave the house without taking a camera with me. With the busy schedule I have I always make some time go to visit my most favorite place in the world the Humane Society of Marion County. There I get the chance to play and help some of the most wonderful dogs and cats in the world.
The shelter is also where I get some of my leadership skills, even though I am only a volunteer, I am responsible of community service people. Community service people are people that have been issued community service hours by a judge, the reasons why a judge gives the hours is for the crimes they have committed. I know we would think that the people with community service hours are all under 17 but it is not so most of the people that I have to be in charge of are anywhere from 13 to 50 years old. At first it was very challenging for me to do this duty, because where I come from it was disrespectful to tell adults what to do. Also at one point in time we had inmates from jail working at our shelter which I was in charge of as well. I am kind of shy at first but it rubs off as soon I get to know someone and then I am just a really friendly person. When I am working at my shelter my boss hardly has to tell me what to do because as soon as I see something needs to be done I do it without asking. I also would like for everyone to know that I have a best friend and he is the bentest friend anyone can have his name is Domino, yes he is a vicious pit bull but I love him to death
. He is not the only thing that I enjoy doing I love to take nature pictures. I am not sure what drives me to take them but I find them relaxing when you can look at a scenic view and you look at and see pure beuty.
