Persuasive Techniques
The advertisement appeals to my REPTILIAN brain because the President Bush is in a press conference which would be kind of important. Then comes my LIMBIC brain, when the reporter through the shoe it made me feel heroic that someone would stand up to a powerful person. And finally my NEOCORTEX which makes me think why the reporter through the shoe.
1. Symbol: For me the main symbol was the President of United States.
2. Plain Folks: The reporters in the room are normal people that attend conferences on daily bases.
3. Humor: I think that it makes a lot of people laugh. Well at least it made me laugh
4. Name Calling: The reporter called the President a "DOG". Which is a very big insult in Iraq
5. Testimonial: Everyone recognizes President Bush, he is well know all over the world.
I picked this video for a reason not to make fun of President Bush but to show people that it doesn't always have to commercial or any kind of advertizing to persuade someone.

Brain Activity
Beofer I tell you what parts of the brain are influenced. I would like everyone to know that every persons brain functions differently. So I think it would be unfair to say that everyone things like this. But on the other hand we could say some people think likes this. I have been thinking about it logicaly and it is imposible for people to feel the same way so ther is some probablity of people thinking the same but not too much. But the way I reacted to this was first by laughter and by thining a little about it. THe laughter would fall under the LIMBIC BRAIN, becasue it controls emotions and feeling and for me it was funny that they didn't care about the comfort of pasigers. Secondly you had to use the NEOCORTEX BRAIN also, you had to think about it. You had to think about it when you read subtitles but alos when you processed everyhting in your head.

Personal Media Inventory
Well I like to read sometimes I have to really get into the book. Regarding the subject I have never concentrated on what kind of a book it is. I will read pretty much anything except the romance books by Daniel Steel I can stay away from them. But I could see myself reading one maybe if I was in prison. I have to admit that lately I have been reading a lot of technical writing like computer manuals and camera manuals; it gets boring after a while. If you haven’t seen what technical writing looks like take a look at http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/intel_rmm2_tps_v10.pdf. Enjoy yourself.....
2. NEWSPAPERS/MAGAZINES –
Well I am kind of a news paper geek. That is all I do read up on news; I don’t really read printed news paper most of my reading is done on the internet. Since I am on the go all the time I have my handy BlackJack I
I which is my cell phone that allows me to view WebPages in full html view. I am not one of those all American news junkie but I read up a lot of my news on Czech serves, http://www.seznam.cz/.3. MUSIC –
Music the wonderful sounds of life. I love music, I don’t know how to play any instruments but I sure am a great admirer. My most favorite way to listen to music is through my 7.1 Creative surround sound PC system, it is the greatest sound system in the world. You can really enjoy the best out of classical music with it. But that is not all that I listen to; I believe that people should listen to a little bit of everything as long it calms you or interacts with you. One my most favorite musician is Jaromir Nohavica he is a Czech artist but my opinion one of the best.
4. TELEVISION –
I have to say I don’t really watch too much television I really never have. Before my family came to America we had a lot less money and basically a lot less of everything. And we even had a black and white TV until I was 8 years old. Believe it or not you could turn any new film into a classic. But if I do watch TV one in a while it defiantly has to be a comedy. Oh Dr. W I think you watch TV on daily bases since you do look into a computer screen. GOT YOU
5. VIDEO GAMES –
This one is very easy. NO VIDEO GAMES!! I have been raised without video games and to tell the truth I don’t even like them.

6. COMPUTERS –
Computers I can live without! When people say you will find your soul mate I believe that I have found mine and it’s the computer. I don’t think I could calculate how much time I spend on the computer. I know that I do spend all the time on the computer. The computer helps me with a lot of daily task that I do, but one in particular that I do is editing my photographs with it. I use a little handy program called Picasa 3, and have to say that I am in love with it. If you are ever in need of an editing program Picasa is the way to go easy compared to Photoshop. And of course you know that I love listening to music though my computer.

7. INTERNET –
Oh the Internet is another big one for me. I am always reading the news on there. The most important thing I do is look through my e-mails so I can do any assignment any of my teachers would like me to do. My e-mail address is so important that I have automatic notification on my phone if I get an e-mail, also have every e-mail synced to my PC through Windows Live Mail it’s a program too. My second thing is MySpace and Facebook . I am always talking to friends well mostly reading their comments and messages. Oh if anyone likes to read up on new technology than http://www.pcworld.com/ is the place to go.

Media Experience

The media experience that I had happened out of nowhere when I was walking my dog through the forest. I always have my digital camera on me, even though it weighs a lot, but that day it was worth it. I suddenly realized that before me was the most beautiful view ever, and that camera allowed me to stop time so that everyone can enjoy that view. Some may say so what it’s just some trees and a dirt road, but to me it was the most magical view it. You know that it will be the most beautiful view when you feel that happiness in you that positive energy.

"Weird Food"
.jpg)
On my fist trip to South America, I went to Peru and Ecuador. I was a rat looking thing roasting at a local market. But I soon learned it was not a rat but a guinea pig. Now never I tried to eat in because it didn't look so good when it was on a wooden stick roasting over an open fire and you can even see its teeth. And my second reason was that it is their traditional food, a delicacy. Like in America for an average American it’s a delicacy to haven a hamburger and french-fries but not there. The burger industry would go broke there. Also another unusual food that I experience is Ceviece it’s kind of a raw fish delicacy in Peru, man they really love it there. I think that foods that I just listed would be considered the most exotic things I experience and would call “Weird”. When I was in South America I got very use to the fact that when I ordered chicken soap I would get the real Chicken soup the one that would have a floating in it chickens leg, that still had its three feet and claws attached to it. I always wondered what USDA would do if Campbell soup company would have a leg floating in its caned products. That kind of startled me at first, but at least they don't waist anything. Oh I almost forgot in my old country the Czech Republic they have this cheese, buts it isn’t like any other that I have ever smelled. It has such a horrible smell to it that I would rather sleep with a yak than go anywhere near that stinky cheese. But the horrible part is that people in my old country love.
